A Sequence that shows a Shift in Behavior

For so long, light was something that existed for granted. It was something that brightened up our everyday life no matter how dark it was inside and outside. But as I grew up, an experience at Yeoju helped me notice the eccentric part of the light that I did not recognize before. It was a small, round firecracker that lit up the fields with orange rays and gleaming lights. However, it wasn’t the loud display that caught my mind; it was the intrinsic reflection of the village as it was flooded by the sudden light. Through the dancing sparks, I saw peacefulness that surrounded the fire. Under the blue moon, it seemed the entire history of the village was echoing. Over the suddenly gleaming fields, I recognized the solitude the village enjoyed. Mesmerized by the sudden epiphany, I came to understand how light can shift in behavior in order to speak to the human psyche. This experience had inspired me to explore the different behaviors light entails through this project.
