Yeondu is a 6 years old Yorkshire Terrier that never stopped running, jumping, and begging me to go for a walk. So one day when he sprained his leg, our family was in shock. Until now, our family failed to realize that the height of the couch and the slippery floor gave damage to Yeondu’s leg whenever he jumped off the couch. To solve the problem, I decided to create a dog slide for Yeondu to climb up and down instead of jumping on and off. Designed for dogs with leg joint problems, I hoped this product would give less stress to Yeondu’s legs.

It was during COVID-19, when I realized that the product should be developed for various households, including those with small living room. Thus I decided to integrate multiple functions on the lift, and decided to add a housing function to the lift. While the product needs more development for usage in various households in varying size, the product was a success for Yeondu’s current situation.
