Eclipse

While ordinary windows may be appropriate for the height of an adult, young children have a hard time peeking out the window that is installed above their height. Inspired by the way lunar eclipse changes in form, shades, and color, I have decided to use its characteristics to create a design where the size of the window gradually changed. Incorporating the visual aspects of the moon, I attempted to make the window appeal aesthetically. The stone texture on the window represents the surface of the moon, while the light on the window represents the glow of the moon.

The development of this product required extensive brainstormings of ideas. In my sketchbook, I would draw inspirations, ideas, and descriptions to plan out how my product would look like. And then I created the product into a 3D model, in order to see how the end product will look like when installed on the wall.
